VCA CareClub Auto-Renew Cutoff
CareClub auto-renews on your enrollment date. VCA's own FAQ states that auto-renew can be turned off in your myVCA account up to 1 day before the renewal date — that is how VCA states it, and it is displayed here as VCA states it. The advice on this page is to do it weeks early anyway: account settings fail, passwords get forgotten, and a renewal that starts is a new 12-month term with its own settlement.
In a February 2026 Trustpilot review, an owner's CareClub plan auto-renewed in January, his pet then died, and he was told he owed over $1,500 for the balance of the year — adjusted by a manager only after a complaint. The renewal switch, turned off early, is the cheapest page on this entire site.
Keep the confirmation — a screenshot or the confirmation screen saved with your plan paperwork — and note your anniversary with it. VCA does not publish a cancellation formula or a national price list. What it does publish is this deadline; meeting it early is entirely in your hands.
Estimate honesty: VCA does not publish a cancellation formula or a national price list. Every VCA number on this page is a range or an estimate built from your own invoices, never a published figure.
The line this site never crosses: What care your pet gets is a decision for you and your veterinarian. These pages are only about the contract and the money.
Every figure in this niche depends on your enrollment date, your payments, and the retail value of what your pet has used. The free checker computes your three options from those numbers alone.
One payment, yours to keep — the scripts, letters and playbooks the free checker points into. Everything inside →
