The free Exit + True-Cost Checker

Your cheapest way out, computed from your own numbers.

No prose formula to work out by hand, no generic fee table. Enter the monthly price on your bill, the months and total you have paid, the retail value of services used from your invoices, and your enrollment date. Banfield mode applies Banfield's own published lesser-of formula exactly. VCA mode shows both candidate numbers as a labeled estimate range. Petco mode runs the loyalty break-even. Every mode returns your anniversary and your act-by date.

Your cheapest way out — computed

Tell it your provider, the monthly price on your own bill, how many months you have paid, what you have paid in total, and the retail value of the services and discounts you have used so far (it is on your invoices — or ask the plan team for the itemized breakdown). It answers with the three contract options priced side by side: cancel now, pay to the end of the term, or stop the renewal only — plus your anniversary and act-by dates, and the true-cost panel for your price. No login, nothing uploaded; it runs on this page, in your browser.

Banfield results use Banfield's own published lesser-of formula. VCA results are labeled estimates — VCA does not publish a cancellation formula or a national price list. Petco results are a loyalty-program break-even, not a contract exit. A wellness plan never covers accidents or illness — if that is the cover you want, that is pet insurance, and the sister site PetCoverCheck reads policy forms: its checker is free.

The line this site never crosses: What care your pet gets is a decision for you and your veterinarian. These pages are only about the contract and the money.

Where the services number lives

Every Banfield and VCA outcome turns on one figure: the retail value of the services and discounts your pet has received so far. It is printed on your visit invoices. If your invoices do not total it, ask the plan team for the itemized breakdown — "read me the retail value of services and discounts used, and the total payments made" — and write both numbers down before you run the checker.
